Dr. Rod Fair is a local optometrist that has a great interest in the arts in Brighton.  He is presently  the President of the heART of Brighton.  " I believe that the appreciation of the arts increases when one has a certain body of knowledge about life, the theater, and the arts generally; the fund of knowledge improves appreciation of veiled references, quotes from other writers, understanding of events in context to history.  In my family it stimulates questions and helps us explore our minds and we know each other better for having attended.  I hope to promote opportunities, through my involvement in the heART of Brighton and the new Armory facility, and provide all people, but especially young people, the opportunity to experience the pleasure that I have had by involvement in the arts. "

Gina Hebert began the Performing Arts Council of Brighton, bringing theater performances to several venues in the area.  The goal was to create a need in Brighton for a performing arts venue.  Platte Valley Players and the heART of Brighton grew out of this beginning, and now the Armory at Brighton Cultural Center has come to be the jewel of Brighton, with many outstanding theater performances and other events ongoing  since its inception.
Gina is proud to know that her efforts and the efforts of many people in those two groups contributed to the building of the Armory at Brighton Cultural Center.

Mark Humbert is the editor and writer of Banner Press.  He is co-publisher of Local Color magazine, The Banner, and the Daily Post news sheet.  When he first moved to Brighton in 2001 it was love at first sight of the Armory and his hope was to be a part of the transition to a performing arts venue  He has been involved since to create a performing arts center in Brighton.

Daryl Meyers has been a strong supporter of the Performing Arts Council of Brighton since its inception.  He continues to support the heART of Brighton in the same way, with work behind the scenes, ideas, donations and shared dreams of a beautiful venue for the performing arts and a beautiful downtown Brighton.

Richard (Dick) McLean is the mayor of Brighton.  He has a background in finances and helps us with the many donations we receive.
